Accessibility + Affordability

I’m so glad you’re considering resources from Diverse Books and Schooling!

All of my curricula is low in pricing, to help families who are working with income disparities. Should you want access to a resource and it would be a hardship on your family to be able to purchase, PLEASE contact me.

You can reach me at diversebooksandschooling@gmail.com

While some of my resources do involve books, I wanted to offer options for cost relief that can help you and your learner access books beyond my resources as well!

  • Libby – Most of my books are available as a resource on Libby, which is a digital companion available with a library card! If you have a learner that is 13 or older, you can even access bonus library cards for free. These library cards open up massive digital library access and greatly decrease out-of-pocket costs. I recommend the Brooklyn and Seattle Public Libraries! Head to Books Unbanned to sign up.
  • BookShare – If your learner has a disability that impacts their reading skills, check out BookShare for digital book access! The website lists requirements needed from a medical provider.
  • ThriftBooks Educator Program – If you are an educator, in a school or at home, you can sign up for Thriftbooks Educator Program and receive free books, points bonuses, and much more! Many of my books can be found there for reduced prices.
