Upcoming Projects

I am always working on new ideas and projects, reading new books, and creating new plans for helping caregivers and learners alike! Below, you will find some upcoming projects! Check back often for updated release dates, new details, and new announcements!

Project Updates:
The Diverse Dives book studies have rolling release dates, and Tornado Brain by Cat Patrick just released! The next Diverse Dives will release in a few months, as I shift focus to Compassionate Play and Compassionate Teens. Scroll to the bottom to see what Diverse Dives I have planned next.

Compassionate Teens is the next big project! The first several pages are completed and inlayed, including a topic list and summary. As of August 7th, I have been working on the first topic inlay and gathering more resources to vet.

Compassionate Play, a resource guide for Pre-K/K SEL learning will be available on August 21st! You can find more information below.

Better Together has just been announced! This will be my next project after Compassionate Teens, a multimedia exploration of Social Justice topics from past to present, with leveled books selections, videos, projects, and much more! More info below

Compassionate Teens

Compassionate Teens will be the Young Adult version of Compassionate Kids, centered around 8th grade and above. I have decided on the lesson topics, and have started my reading process to round out book choices that would reflect my goals for this curriculum the best. You can find more information on Compassionate Teens by clicking the button below!

The deadline of Spring 2027 gives me a buffer for life, researching, and creating. However, this is subject to change and bump up due to hyper focus. This will not be a course that I can provide accredited information for (course hours, state standards, etc.), but will provide official course summaries at the beginning of the curriculum for homeschooling documentation purposes.

Compassionate Play

Compassionate Play will be a resource guide of situations that invite caregivers to connect with their younger learners. You will find scripts, action prompts, and scenario connections to facilitate these meaningful lessons. No direct student “work” just a picture book to share each lesson for a read aloud should you desire! The “work” is in the play, and this guide is for you, the caregiver, only! More info, here:

Diverse Dives

Diverse Dives is an ongoing series of book studies featuring SEL and mental health connections. The current releases feature graphic novels, middle grade novels, and picture books. Upcoming titles are be listed below with projected release dates updated often, as they are subject to move up or back a bit due to hyperfocus (Hello, AuDHD!) or needed rest.

Check out the link below for currently released Diverse Dives!

Upcoming Releases:
~Listen to the Girls by Chrystal D. Giles – Expected Late Fall 2026 (Upper Middle Grade/Middle School novel)
This book is powerful! When a middle school student begins to understand harassment, she processes the fact that her teacher is not acting in a professional manner with her, and reaches out for help with mixed results. This Diverse Dive will feature EXTRA resources and support about boundaries, personal respect and safety, as well as resources on how to seek help and understanding for yourself or others while in this situation. Expect a lot of discussion.

~It’s My Body! by Elise Gravel – Expected Late Fall 2026 (Picture Book, Lower to Mid Elem) This book explains positive body image and understanding all the wonderful things our body does for us! Expect activities on body image and embracing the unique YOU, inside and out.

Better Together

Better Together is my next big project after Compassionate Teens. This curriculum will featured leveled books, videos, and projects/activities for a myriad of social justice topics. This curriculum is for those who are looking to be allies to their marginalized community neighbors, throughout the globe. Own Voices will be used for each topic, as I am a guide, not an expert on many of these areas.

This is for those who want to know better, to do better. Expect to be challenged, filled with emotions, and inspired. This will be a curriculum that can be done many times for a different experience throughout the tiers.

Expect more information within the next few months!
