Compassionate Teens is the next big project! As of September 27th, I am finished with Lesson 4 of 36. I’ll be updating weekly progress every Wednesday on my Tiktok/Instagram.

Compassionate Teens
Compassionate Teens will be the Young Adult version of Compassionate Kids, centered around 8th grade and above. You can find more information on Compassionate Teens by clicking the button below!
The deadline of Spring 2027 gives me a buffer for life, researching, and creating. However, this is subject to change and bump up due to hyper focus. This will not be a course that I can provide accredited information for (course hours, state standards, etc.), but will provide official course summaries at the beginning of the curriculum for homeschooling documentation purposes.
Diverse Dives
Diverse Dives is an ongoing series of book studies featuring SEL and mental health connections. The current releases feature graphic novels, middle grade novels, and picture books. Upcoming titles are be listed below with projected release dates updated often, as they are subject to move up or back a bit due to hyperfocus (Hello, AuDHD!) or needed rest.

~It’s My Body! by Elise Gravel – Expected Late Fall 2026 (Picture Book, Lower to Mid Elem) This book explains positive body image and understanding all the wonderful things our body does for us! Expect activities on body image and embracing the unique YOU, inside and out.
~The Civil War of Amos Abernathy by Michael Leali- Expected Winter 2026 (Chapter Book Study for Upper Elem/Middle School) This book explores identity, as well as a special interest in the Civil War hero Albert Cashier. So much more to this study that I don’t want to spoil! Expect LGBTQIA+ history connections for this one.
~Louder Than Hunger by John Schu- Expected Late Winter 2026 (Novel in Verse for Upper Middle/High School) This book tackles an eating disorder in a teen boy who struggles with treatment. Expect a heavy focus on learning about eating disorders and impacts on mental wellbeing.
