Welcome!
This is the curriculum hub for Diverse Books and Schooling! This encompasses all of the curriculums and resources that I have available and upcoming. Here you will find quick summaries of currently released curriculum with links to their own separate pages for more in depth information.
Each curriculum has been created solely by me, no AI knowingly used, with support from a small group of friends. I drew upon many years of lived experience, my professional background, and my own identity to research books, videos, and website resources for each curriculum below. These curriculums are all FREE to use, and I encourage taking time to absorb all content, it’s a learning process, not a rush!

Compassionate Kids
Compassionate Kids is an exploration of social emotional learning and mental health for elementary and middle school learning. Throughout 34 topics, learners will connect with journal prompts, videos, book alignments, discussions and more to grow their own emotional intelligence and skills. For more information about the two levels of Compassionate Kids, including the topics covered and sample pages, click below!
Diverse Dives
Diverse Dives include smaller book studies that connect to social emotional learning topics. Several are released, with more coming by the end of the year. Each Diverse Dive includes discussion points, art connections, and resources to learn more about the overall lesson thought throughout the story. For more information on these book studies, click below!
Compassionate Caregivers
Compassionate Caregivers provides more resources to caregivers who are newer to learning these topics covered in my curriculums, or perhaps need to build up their understanding of conveying it to their learners. It is a resource guide with videos, articles, and book recommendations, as well as lived experience and growth ideas. To find more information on topics covered as well as a topic layout, click below!
