Compassionate Play

Compassionate Play will be released August 21st.

It has been a few months since Compassionate Kids released, and feedback is coming in! I’ve heard some constructive critique about the rigor of the Chromatic level and its appropriateness for those who are more play based in their developmental approach. You know what, you’re right! Play is development. While my learners are more academic focused, I have an Early Childhood Ed. Degree as well as many different classroom experiences with younger learners, and I know that so many wonderful skills can be learned through connections and play.

Compassionate Play is being built for those caregivers who know play is important, but struggle to figure out how to start the connection for social emotional topics. These topics are build with neurodivergent learners in mind, however they are for all neurotypes!

What are the Topics covered?

There are 20 topics covered in Compassionate Play. You will find that if you go in order (you don’t HAVE to), they cover topics about self, then transition into empathy before lessons surrounding others.
